The University of Agder (UiA) is one of Norway's leading institutions of higher education. It is located in Kristiansand, Norway, and is home to more than 12,000 students. UiA offers a variety of programs, from undergraduate and graduate degrees to professional certificates and diplomas. UiA has achieved a high ranking among Norwegian universities and is highly regarded for its research and teaching excellence.

UiA has a competitive acceptance rate, with admission requirements that include a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as passing scores on the Norwegian Scholastic Aptitude Test. International students may also be required to submit additional documents and/or take language tests.

UiA offers a variety of scholarships and grants to help students finance their studies. These include merit-based, need-based, and student-specific scholarships. The university also provides student housing and financial aid to help students with the cost of living.

The university is divided into six faculties, each offering a range of courses and programs. These include Business and Social Sciences, Education and Humanities, Health and Social Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, and the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.

UiA also has a wide range of departments and research centers, such as the Centre for International Law and the Centre for Gender Research. The university also offers an extensive range of study abroad programs, allowing students to gain international experience.
